A private, one-minute morning check-in that shows how your energy, sleep and body are moving against your own baseline. Processed on your phone. Not a medical test.
- π Processed on your phone
- β Not a medical test
It stays on your phone.
Everything Elk collects is stored encrypted on your device. Elk reads from Apple Health and never writes to it. Nothing is sold, used for advertising, or sent to an AI service. There is no account to create and nothing to leak β a wellness app that treats the most personal data the way it should be treated.

Elk learns what's normal for you, then shows you when you drift from it β a season, not a verdict.
- 1
Signals
Sleep, body, how you feel β and later, optional voice and selfie checks.
- 2
Your baseline
A few weeks of check-ins become βnormal for you.β
- 3
Your trend
How you compare with that baseline β never with other men.
Only a blood test can tell you your actual hormone levels.
Four signals. Each one optional, each one separate.
Turn on only what you want. Change any of them later in Settings.
Check-in & questionnaire
How you feel, about a minute a day, plus a short validated questionnaire (ADAM / AMS) once a month.
Apple Health
Reads sleep, heart-rate variability, resting heart rate, body measurements and exercise β read-only. Nothing is written back.
Voice check
An optional one-minute voice clip. Only numeric features are kept; the recording is deleted on your phone within seconds.
Selfie check
An optional selfie. Only a few numeric appearance measures are kept β never the photo, which never leaves your device.
Calm, careful, and never clinical.
Real screens from the app β built to be read in a tired minute before the day starts.

The honest answers.
Does Elk show my testosterone level?
No. Elk never shows a hormone value in ng/dL. It shows how your own signals move against your own baseline (βdown 12% over 3 weeksβ). Only a blood test can tell you your actual levels.
Where is my data stored?
On your phone, encrypted. Elk is local-first: it reads from Apple Health (never writes), and nothing is sold, used for advertising, or sent to an AI service. No account is required to use it.
Is Elk a medical test or diagnosis?
No. Elk is a general-wellness app, not a medical device. It makes no diagnosis, and when something looks off it reminds you to see a doctor.
Do I need to sign in?
No. The core app works with no account at all. Optional encrypted backup can be added later, on your terms.
